Zero Carbon Policy Is A Sensible Idea?

The UK Government's 'Zero Carbon' policy sets an extremely ambitious goal to reduce and eventually eliminate Carbon Dioxide emissions. But is the Government's approach well planned and based on evidence and data?

As the CO2 concentration in the earth's atmosphere continues to grow, the temperature rises predicted 25 years ago have not materialised, crop yields increase year on year as plant life thrives and the ice caps haven't melted.

The UK has not taken the course of France with their nuclear program producing CO2 free electricity. The predictable negative economic impact of high energy prices to UK industry appears to be an inevitable consequence of Zero Carbon policy.
