Under the pretence of public safety the United Kingdom has seen attempts by a Government to restrict and remove liberties that have been enshrined in English Common Law for centuries.
Parliament has taken it upon itself to go to war with a virus and numerous mutations of a virus. In engaging in that war, they have assumed authority over our personal lives - our movements, our businesses, our social lives, our education and our health.
Not everyone wishes to cede power over their movement, their business, and their personal lives to their Government and in a free society this would not happen. Irrespective of the true nature of the 'threat' we face from COVID, are such draconian and costly measures such as lockdowns justifiable?
